Juniper finds out who and what and why he ended up in a strange between-worlds synthwave dimension known as Synth Scape Zone. Juniper never really gets angry, but when you get stolen away on a potentially irreversible kidnapping to another realm... you're allowed to get angry.

His evil timeline self found the, or at least a copy, Phantom Ruby. So he plans to take his victory to other timelines-- but first he has to get rid of the one most capable of stopping him.
