Aside from Star of course, I feel like I should be able to recognize at least 1 person in the mosh pit... but I canβt... And are those 2 smiles in the mosh pit, or just one?
Nonetheless, amazing work! Awesome song! You and your work are recognized and appreciated, Star!

I'm pretty sure this is the first page I've favorited just for the art. It may have been triple the time but it really shows here, technically but especially so stylistically... and of course all the cumulative improvement since this thing's started. Speaking of, truthfully can't remember how far I got on my last big read, but I don't think it was this far. Have popped in and out over the years, since I often couldn't handle the suspense and rereading to refresh my memory.
This time it's cause I binged your first two printed books (so cool those are a thing and can't wait for the rest, gonna make them available reading for whenever kinky or kink curious friends are over), and deciding to catch up, possibly all the way to the present. But yeah the fact I HAVE been able to pop in and out over the years, the fact this has been going for a decade, on top of other comics, commissions, being so active in comments, so much interaction, and of course all the other things life entails... your hobbies, relationships and tyrna ta be a good person. It really can't be overstated how accomplished your artistic career is at this point and the people you've helped, even if you can't always internalize/recognize it. Including me, Shine was a big part in helping get lots of my insecurities about my weirdnesses out of the way early before they started to fester too much :) and to a lesser extent along with other furs and kinksters helped teach me about consent, communication, red and green flags, other relationship and life stuff.
I'm glad we're over the Tessa kidnapping arc, at least for now. I like a fictional problematic and/or noncon scenario as much as the next ethical perv but they're often presented in very different contexts where it's more obviously detached porn. Considering the very grounded, realistic, emotionally mature tone/theme/writing/overall construction of your graphic novel I was also jarred and had similar concerns about the presentation of Tessa's actions and the fact she could implicate her close friends in potential crimes that could be just as serious if not more than those of Marellis's!
But was happy to see Star showing extreme maturity, helping settle things down, and Tessa being recognized as having some big red flags herself... in fact I just ran across your comment on 369 on top of the one on 368, really good extra info about her characterization. I'm super curious to see if this is the most concerning thing she does, if she continues to do bad things for good reasons, whether those behaviors backfire at some point and she has to face her own accountability for this down the line.
...my compartmentalization did kick back in and I found 375 and 376 quite blushy though :P
Anyways I'll not be a moralizing bummer anymore, and say I'm really excited for all of Star's other relationships to continue blossoming.
Sorry for the essay and maybe kinda formal tone, I also felt kinda generic and sappy at times but ehhh, live cringe and free or wither away normal. I'm not concise at the best of times and my mind gets away from me at this late hour. Though to be fair you're no stranger to long comments on Shine and I'm sure plenty of your other stuff haha. Have a good one Star and everyone else happening to see this :3

I really appreciate when folk write comments on older pages, it lets me revisit those pages and revisit some of my thought processes I had back then. I enjoy writing ambiguosly grey characters. MOst of the characters in the comic are complicated for one reason or another but Tessa is very much in her own league. I'm wary of her and curious about her, keeping my distance but wanting to know more. I've known people like that in my life and she basically embodied those people.
