because I use it attached to a set of super long chains or ropes, then I swing it about like a grapple/flail, I can use the chain as a close combat weapon/bindings, and I use it as a hammer to block and smash XD

helps that the character I RPed had a backstory that allowed for acrobat and smith apprentice....
made the best weapon for me at the time XD
