Yay for Megadeth-inspired grilling!
I shuoud add that the season for grilling should have started a good while ago - but the amounts of rain we're getting here is crazy. Today there might be a chance, the weather is nice now in the morning - but I just got a storm warning, fuuuuu...

there is always something. but maybe it refills the ground water reservoirs that fell empty during the really overdone summer of 2003... when even the Rhine fell dry in places.
I've seen various homegrown grilling places in picdumps, some made of steel, others of bricks, so, why not. :) let the megagrilling commence!

It actually worked! The warnings were exaggerated, no storm and no rain until sunset.
Yeah, I understand well how needed rain is, except that this spring saw too much of it, to the point where crops almost started rotting and the overall vegetation is visibly delayed by 3 weeks or so. Also it seems Poland started to follow Germany's example with building lots of artificial retention lakes (or how to call it) to keep the water from the more rainy times for more dry ones.

some klicks northeast from my place there is a system of artifical lakes meant to keep high water from heavy rains back so it won't rush down the valleys. some of them are also good to bathe in, with a little infrastructure and camping lots. also, they wouldn't allow bathing for the public if the water wasn't as clean as our tap water, too. which means a lot... :)
