Wasn't the Lionel train company centered in Pittsburgh? I recall seeing one of the biggest train sets on display at the Carnegie Science Museum, and they mentioned at least one of the toy train factories was in the city more commonly known for it's steel products.

Lionel spent most of it's time in Irvington, NJ. Moved to Mount Clemens, MI after 1969. Now made where just about everything else is (but headquarters is in NYC)
