One of the "projects that might have been" was a plan for Barona's kids, eventually.
An extended plan was to have Corporal Ketterinna Barona eventually have a son named Arich, after Lt. Arich Kotlin, her commander who was killed in Tebessa. This younger Arich was going to grow up and be in the military himself, however he would go infantry instead of armor like his ol' mom. Arich was going to meet a girlfriend named Angel, a Fennec and the two would become closely bonded. It was obviously something for decades in the future so there weren't too many details and things were somewhat bare-bones as far as solid plans went but there was a possible framework for more.

How much of these plans would survive into the planned reboot? Unknown; at one point in my life I wanted to do away with it all and start from a clean slate, but at the same time a lot of work had been put into this and the overall idea wasn't a bad one; and I know myself, I'd end up going much down the same path anyway. As it stands, the reboot will initially focus on completely different settings & characters anyway, and we won't meet alien-Barona for a couple of stories anyway. So this idea can simmer for the time being.
