“I should think not!” The indignant mermaid spat, thoroughly unamused by the young sailor’s apparent obliviousness at such an obvious fact. “Although, you might be if you dare to smack my turtle again!”
“Well excuse me, princess!” The sailor retorted, his paw on his chest in mock indignation. “I didn’t know ol’ soup bones was yers! The boys back at the ship thought they saw a sea monster nibblin’ on a pretty lass, so I came to check out the sit-“
“How much, asshole?”
“Two silver, with the over,” the cat confessed. “But yer alive! So, I’m not here to rob ya, or eat yer turtle. D’ya need a lift?”
“Oh yes,” the mermaid quipped. “Why I’d just love to be the center of attention on deck for your crew of horny miscreants - after all, their captain is just sooo charming!”

Stunning colors as always! I love the characters' expressions and the banter between the two. Jade's coloration in particular is amazing - I really like the green and black, with the banding of the tail fin being my favorite. The background is amazingly done. The underwater scene is wonderful and I adore his little turtle friend. The swirl of colors above the water that surrounds the characters is also gorgeous.
