that was something I wanted to try and for one the narrative fit... Did you ever see the movie 'Flags of Our Fathers'?

such a great great movie... as well as the sister movie 'Letters From Iwo Jima'. (Filmed at the same time but from the Japanese view of things.)

I enjoyed that. I liked the switching back and forth between stories and the overall idea that two people who fought against each other in fencing would end up fighting together in battle.

The style of multiple interwoven stories, tho here timelines, reminds me of the book Cloud Atlas. Your piece is more connected than those, but it's a really neat style all the same! Plus I like that both come to a climax at the same part, and both lead to that climax at a dimilar pace. It's really engaging! ^^
