AC 2010 sketches: <<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>
This is the first of three sketch commissions I got at Anthrocon 2010 for my new music sketchbook, where each drawing illustrates a brief excerpt from the lyrics of a song that I appreciate. I provide a list of quotes to choose from; the scene is up to the artist's imagination.
This piece by
silentravyn illustrates a quote from "Motherland" by Natalie Merchant:
Don't miss this wasteland, this terrible place, when you leave

I must say the art matches the full song lyrics surprisingly well. The tower in the background is not the CN Tower, but just a "generic tower" (I asked). ^^
