Here are the intelligent Roean species (Olgeds) contributing with various tasks, according to their natural talents.
Zaw-afikh (Saurians 🦎) and Orthontis (Avians 🦩) have superhuman intellect:
🦎 perception, recall, memory, detail meticulousness;
🦩 quick information processing, cognition, and computation;
The others (Pattäder 🐐 and Ikai'kap 🐠) are roughly human-level, while Ckipocatli (Archosaurs 🐊) aren't very bright yet still help with their big muscles.

I imagine that as with humans there will be some Ikai'kap and Pattader whom have intellects on par with Zaw-Afikh and Orthontis so I imagine though less common there are a fair number of scientists amongst them.
With Pattader tending towards boldness, perseverance and ambition and sometimes overly daring I suppose they might have sometimes made dramatic breakthroughs or pushed a concept further when it's been developed by Zaw-Afikh and Orthontis though perhaps also had some disasters on occasion. Ikai'kap with their charisma and tendencies to empathy and moral support I imagine are good at getting everyone working as a team.
Sometimes I imagine Ckipocatli might be able to point out a simple point or something that had otherwise been missed if there had been overthinking or otherwise just had been missed and you likely do have some individuals whom are pretty smart.

Patty would be very reckless indeed, quite the opposite to Zaw's desire to be always careful and taking their sweet time [which other species don't have as much of to spare].
