Finally got around to getting some art of Sunset, by far my longest held character, since 2012 or so in fact. Had to find an artist who would do her justice, and
ValkyriaFreyja was more than capable of doing just that. They were also great to work with, and got this done in a very good time frame.
Yes, she is female. The NSFW version explains why this is.

While Sunset is certainly capable and skilled in the art of conversation, she does not end up using that skill much. Unless the person she is talking to is a close friend the conversation will be all business. She is usually the one to reach out to a potential friend, with the exception of her mate Sharky. Sunset doesn't venture out much recreationally, the large amount of travel she is required to do for her work makes her greatly value the time she gets at home to relax. You might see her out at the occasional car show with Sharky, and very rarely she might attend a sporting event. Sunset has had a very hard time dealing with the social implications of her financial success, as though she may be fat of wallet she still holds many of the values and customs instilled in her youth when the house was often unable to make ends meet. A sophisticated person she is definitely not, a perfect example of how you can't take the red out of someone's neck. She can fake high class for business interactions, but she finds it exhausting.
Sunset was born in a very poor home and raised by a very strict and un-loving widower, then kicked out onto the streets on her eighteenth birthday. With money she had secretly saved, the woman did not allow her to have her own finances, she bought a beat up Chevy El Camino with a bed cap and lived out of the back of that for some time. Being highly intelligent and having a way with people, she did what she needed to do in order to secure a good job. From there she saved heavily and started her own business, Paciphin Holdings, which began as a consulting firm for businesses to manage their bankruptcy. The company has expanded quickly over the years with many subsidiaries. The most notable and legitimate one is her liquidation firm, which works hand-in-hand with the bankruptcy management branch. There is also a scrapping business, though this is more of a shell company to facilitate Sunset's personal purchases, as well as a shipyard that specializes in high performance vessels for both civilian and military applications. Unfortunately, the company and Sunset have endured a great deal of unwarranted hate from social media users due to a slanderous story published by a major news organization accusing the company of performing a wide variety of illegal activities. Though everything the company and its subsidiaries do is completely within the letter of the law, they run on the very edge of that line and exploit any loopholes where possible. While Sunset was able to successfully sue for defamation and the news organization issued an apology, many in the public still believe her and her company to be guilty of that for which they were accused.
Sunset enjoys a wide variety of hobbies and interests, with the most prominent being working on cars. She also enjoys other aspects of the hobby such as motorsport and racing games, but does not indulge in those to the same level that her mate Sharky does. Sunset doesn't particularly like entering her cars in shows, and often just rides along with Sharky in whatever car he takes. Sunset is very glad to have gone to one particular car show however, as she met Sharky in the parking lot that day. She does take pride in her cars and drives them regularly, as well as putting a lot of thoughts into the parts she choses to install. Her dream car, which she now owns, is a 1999-2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R. As an American, Sunset takes advantage of her relatively easy access to legally acquired firearms and owns no less than sixteen rifles, four shotguns and four handguns. Of those four handguns, she carries a custom Glock 19X concealed in a shoulder holster. Another notable hobby of Sunset's is that she plays various string instruments such as the guitar, bass guitar, banjo and fiddle. She was also proficient at the piano in her youth due to the woman who raised her mandating that the girls learn it. She gave it up however when, at the age of eighteen, she discovered musical genera such as country and metal.
Sunset doesn't consume much media and avoids social media altogether, though the latter being the result of her step-brother's advice. What she does consume is mostly music, with a wide variety of genera being in her tastes, though she heavily favors various types of metal and country. She will also occasionally sing the Southern folk songs of her youth to herself, as they were the one bright light of her dark childhood. Sunset does enjoy movies, though she wouldn't actively seek one out. One thing she makes sure to watch is the Sunday Formula 1 races with her mate Sharky, though with her needing to travel for work they can often find themselves watching together virtually.
Sunset has had intermediate luck with relationships. While she has a perfect success rate in starting romantic relationships with whoever she chooses, her previous two mates have been the ones to break off the relationship. Both partings went amicably and she is still good friends with both individuals. It helps that her first boyfriend and her second boyfriend ended up entering a homosexual relationship and are now married to each other. Her first boyfriend broke up with her after the two discovered that they shared a mother, a result of them both being abandoned at birth and never being given the information until they looked it up one day. Her second relationship was more complicated, since her and her brother were both interested in him. The three agreed that the new boyfriend would date both siblings, but would eventually have to choose one. He chose Sunset's brother and as a result had to break up with Sunset. How Sunset's relationship with Sharky started is the cause of friendly debate between the two of them. Sunset maintains that Sharky started everything, as he was the one that initiated their very first conversation and Sunset knew at the day's end that she wanted to date him. Sharky on the other hand is of the opinion that Sunset was the one who really made it a relationship, as she was the one who brought up the idea of them being more than friends and Sharky had no idea that she was romantically interested in him before that. Sunset does a good job of comforting Sharky's insecurities about the relationship, as she has none of her own and doesn't see herself leaving him at all. While they do love each other deeply and will always prefer each other's company to the company of others, their relationship is not fully closed. Their arrangement is a semi-open one, where they are free to be open with others so long as the other approves in advance. This keeps their openness relatively contained, even though that would not be an issue for either of them otherwise. While Sunset and Sebastian have a very close relationship, there is zero chance of the two ever truly becoming mates as both Sunset and Sebastian would never think to put Sharky through the harm a breakup would cause him.
Sunset's immediate friend and family group is uniquely also her entire extended friend and family group. The first notable member is her ex-boyfriend now step-brother (the relationship ended when the family connection was found out) Starchaser, Star for short, a male bottlenose dolphin from New Zealand who Sunset chatted up as he walked by her El Camino one day. With Star comes his husband and Sunset's ex-boyfriend Horizon, a very large and muscular orca who's truck Sunset repaired while she was on a road trip with Star in Canada. Sebastian, a male arctic wolf from Finalnd now living in Canada, and Sunset had seen each other in passing many times before Sunset reached out to him one day. Seb's close friend Shinigami, a red and gold common dragon, introduced himself later the same day that the wolf and dolphin had first spoke. Next is her current and likely forever mate Sharky, a Canadian otter-shark hybrid, who she met at the parking lot of a car show. Krystil, a blue and gold semi-aquatic herm dragoness, was met when Sunset and Sharky were on a date.
