Some info: derek lives on his own in a little snug studio apartment, i say snug because being 6ft even theres very few places that offer higher ceilings at the price he pays, he does have a little delivery job to the side to help pay the bills n whatnot and bring on his own he loves to eat out alot and order takeout usually almost constantly. Luckily since he delivers he is moving n whatnot so its not like the weight stays on him long, especially since all that food has to go somewhere else besides his thighs n gut.. hence why he dislikes gassy food, even though most of what he orders.. causes gas and well.. other stuff d u h. While he doesnt like his job he doesnt dislike it either because if someone “forgets” or doesnt tip well.. he is always somewhat hungry.. not like that customer is gonna be able to complain in his belly along with some fresh food of whatever he was delivering heh.. luckily his boss doesnt mind him being late or taking extra bathroom breaks as a result considering he does t e c h n ica l l y deliver the food.. he also has s good friend who does something else entirely named allen who hangs with him sometimes and the two do share similar likes and dislikes, he even shares the joy of eating customers with derek! Alen figured somethin was going on since he saw him gain some weight out of nowhere in the past and derek fessed up instantly, tellin allen about it and of course allen tried it too when they went to a delivery together.. and the rest is history
