I am very fond of her design, and am curious to see what colors you pick for her if this gets worked on more.

Though seeing the gills on her neck got me thinking of something odd. I recall some forms of aquatic humanoids from... not sure what media I saw or read it in... but anyway, gills are along the sides of the torso to allegedly compensate for more oxygen intake or whatnot.

I like her dorsal fin, and the spear is of a particularly nifty design. The tail is also cute.
Also wondering what her feet would look like... flippers? Webbed clawed toes? I'm curious because they are cut off in the sketch. :#

Also, about the rating. I may debate that its not *quite* general audience, because of visable nipples on a female form. Though, tasteful nudity is not pornography either. Does FA have some sorta middle ground rating?

As for colors I'm not sure yet. Probably something with a light belly like most fish but either a more vibrant darker blue on her back, or possibly something more red-ish if I want her be more tropical looking.

Interesting point about the gills. It makes sense that they would be along the torso in order to have surface area against the water, but I have another idea. She probably has both lungs and gills, really making her more amphibious rather than purely aquatic. She would need to surface to breathe every once in a while but their gills would serve the purpose of allowing them to stay under for very extended times. I would say that they could stay submerged for hours or possibly even days on end with the aid of their gills, but sooner or later would need to surface to catch a new breath.

I think her feet would not be too dissimilar to humans, maybe shorter soles of her feet but longer and webbed toes? She would probably have fewer toes as well.


My work load isn't terribly unmanageable right now, so hopefully I'll be able to be more present here for a while.

As far as I know, you can have nipples as general. Some say this is due to sexism, that male nipples were allowed to be general, then females should be able to as well.
From what I've noticed, as long as a nipple/s is not used directly in a mature way, it can be general.

Quite many I know post nipples general, and so far no moderator have gone murloc on them.
Only a few "omghax! this female is not wearing a burka, I can see more then 10 % of her body, this must be adult rated!" but yeah... like anyone cares about those anyway xD

Don't worry I haven't forgotten about it, I just don't have a lot of extra time right now. I plan on updating it once I have the time to really give it the attention it needs. Hopefully that won't take long, but don't hold your breath either.
