that's how I see it. the Queen is the most Valuable next to the king itself so you'd rarely if Never sacrifice your Queen or ever put your queen in harm's way.

Paula the Nidorina I presume....she did show up just for sex with jay 2 weeks ago but wasn't home due to taking kay to a card tournament. Mabel ended up tending to Paula's needs instead. so there may be some Rivalry there between Mab and Paula for Jay's gifted skills in bed.
It depends on the situation. Sometimes it's bait for a checkmate, or sets up a forced checkmate. Sometimes it's to take several pieces. Sometimes it's to get a pawn through for promotion. And sometimes it's just to get a good angle/position on their defenses. Chess is not always a game of immediate rewards. Sometimes queens are sacrificed to position your pieces for something that won't happen until several turns later.
