The house of Malatesta stands on a hill,
It's the home of ill omen - come in if you will.
Mr. Malkinard Malatesta's house is located in the mountaineous area of heathen Armrau. This two-stored mansion is badly worn by time and hard to find. I had to get my mind off some IRL things, so I once again started doodling crummy stuff. The horse is Amac, Malek's purdy little thing. I guess he got frightened by something he saw in the fog.

This was pretty easy to colour, because I drew the stuff on rough paper and tweaked the levels so that the lineart was as dark as possible. Then I just smacked some dark colour on it. I thought that the outcome was a bit splotchy, but maybe the concept makes it acceptable. =)

I did this one very fast... It's funny how my swift doodlages end up looking better than the ones I actually spend time on. I'm jinxed.
You're free to move in if you want. Of course you'd had to share the house with Rip, Malek, Malek's wife and a number of bastard children. And one mean horse. I'm not sure if it would be worth it on the long run. ^^

The horse is amazing! He doesn't look spooked though, he looks like he's giving me the evil eye. I swear they're glowing red. Stay away!
The way you got the house into the picture make it look like it's a reasonable distance back from the horse and the smudgy trees work very well with the fog.

I have this one friend who knows a lot about horses. I'm sure that the next time she comes to visit me (she lives in England), she'll tell me everything that needs to be fixed with the horse's head. I'm pretty jealous of how good she is at horse anatomy.. =P

You'd probably find 1 miffed Ripkin drinking booze in the kitchen, 1 lazy vampire lord sleeping on an old couch, 1-5 bastard sons and daughters fighting with each other and 1 very, very sad winged elf cleaning up the perpetual mess these others leave behind them.
No treasures, though. Probably some skeletons in the basement. =)
