Chespin was just wondering around with nothing to do, until he sees a micro just standing there, almost like it waa begging to be stomped. Chespin was very confused, then the whole bugs getting stomped on idea came to his head, so that's exactly what he did. However, he still questioned why there was a micro on an open field all alone, in his thoughts too much to realize that the micro got stuck to his foot. Chespin dragged it off and left it there to die, and it looks pretty dead to me judging by the x's for eyes.
