Thousands of years ago before the dawn of man, a evil and powerful alien entity from another dimension was exiled to Earth and imprisoned in the very center of it's core for it's crimes of destroying entire planets and galaxies by it's more benevolent spawn who were created to be it's slaves to assist in it's evil work, and who are also the inspiration and basis for many of Earth's gods, religions, legends, and myths. It's arrival by crash landing on Earth caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. In order to break free of it's imprisonment to continue ravaging the universe and get revenge on it's brethren, it has corrupted the humans of Ancient Egypt, turning them into twisted and monstrous versions of their gods to serve as it's mindless slaves who venture up to the surface whenever the seal is weak enough to gather humans for their master to feed on or turn into more monsters. Once they outlive their usefulness, the entity plans to devour all of it's minions after devouring all of humanity after growing strong enough. One of these victims is a Ancient Egyptian Soldier who is our protagonist who was captured and transformed. he had a loving wife and child who were saddened by his disappearance. One day while out gathering humans with his fellow slaves for their master to feed on, he kidnaps his family who he gives to his master, but upon seeing them being devoured, he realized who they were which causes him to regain his human mind. (He's in the lower left corner. I just love monster protagonists.) I'm aiming for this to be a Action RPG in the vein of Zelda, Alundra, The Soul Blazer Trilogy, etc. The monsters are based on the Anunnaki Minions from the final episode of Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated "Come Undone." This game will have a strong emphasis on Lovecraftian horror. It will feel like a descent into Hell the further you go in the game. The game will have absolutely nothing to do with Scooby Doo or the Anunnaki for that matter other than the protagonist and the minions looking like the ones from the cartoon since in this, they are humans turned into the entity's minions. The alien entity will be far more evil and detestable then Scooby Doo Mystery Inc.'s Evil Entity due to turning unwilling humans into it's monstrous minions who give him their friends and loved ones to devour (while it's implied in Mystery Inc that the Evil Entity corrupted other Anunnaki into it's minions) and already having a higher body count by having already destroyed countless planets before it's imprisonment. It's also responsible for every single one of history's greatest atrocities by corrupting the minds of men from it's prison. (I was thinking this game's story takes place over the course of centuries.) I should also mention that there many more like the entity back in it's own dimension! And the entity itself has many names. One of them is "Nyarlathotep".
