I shared the process work for this piece just over 2 years ago on Patreon.

At the time, I just wanted to redesign these two OCs and draw them in a more dynamic scene (while also getting some background practice in!). I usually don't last too long after finishing a piece before I grow past liking it. But, even with the flaws I can see now, two years on - I still enjoy this piece, and I hope you do too.
