I recently got back from a marvelous trip to Hawaii where I stayed for 3 weeks and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in that time. Well other than find this poor baby song sparrow which had a fractured hip bone and could not walk. SO, I took this young bird in and formally named him Stumps (for being his unusually rounded and small size compared to his other birdie comrades).

He's still pretty adorable though.
