HAHA, YES. Though it wasn't his whole tailtip, like illustrated. It was just maybe 5 or 6 tailhairs stuck to his tongue. The terrible tearing sound definitely was heard, though, just before he happily presented us with his "prize" ... a mouth of tailhairs.
