They hatch from batches of robin eggs that have odd numbers; for example, if there are 7 eggs, the seventh egg will have a Trolo. Twins are only born in batches that have 13 eggs. They have a kinship with butterflies, and can call them to carry them places. They hate the sound of a tea kettle whistles, but love pretty or shiny things, like ribbons. To capture one, you must lure them out by ringing a silver bell, and then trap them under the bell. From then on, the Trolo will be completely loyal to its master, unless its master is cruel. Trolos are rare, because gem hunters will hunt and kill them for the gems on their hands and bellies. No one is quite sure what purpose the gems serve, but every Trolo has them.
You can have one of your own for $5- note me if you're interested!
