My only question is what would happen when the original potion runs out? Will they return to normal and break the bottle or will they just shrink back down into the first mini world again?

They never found out if the potion DOES run out. At this point after being dunked in it and dropped in another universe, it's unlikely to ever wear off. Especially if they keep getting exposed to more shrinking potions in smaller and smaller microverses.

Yeah I guess that I should have expected that to happen. Time doesn't always flow the same way in every dimension. Its more likely that every time they went to another universe/Microverse the potion's time to run out gets randomized so to speak.
