If you've played Starbuster, Alpha is like, literally maybe a couple of hours old at most by the time the SAGE 2020 demo is completed.
He clearly has some knowledge built in for frame of reference of his own existence and broader assumptions about humankind works. But Cassie selling pinups or bottled lizard spit guitar lube for an obscene amount of credits probably wouldn't make any more sense to him than her guitar not being a weapon.

Even if somebody explained the idea to him, I could imagine his reaction at worst being like one finding their sister's nude selfies in her room or something. He's not likely to ever really get it.
If I drew Alpha with balloons I have no idea what I'd even have him do than be confused by it. Unless he also just classed it as sonic weapons, some kind of odd projectile, or some kind of target practice drone.
