This is just a fanfic story on how others would like to see Spongebob

One Day at the Krusty Krab; Spongebob was hosting tables and giving the
customers orders one by one, until Bubble Bass decided to Heckle him by saying
“So Squarepants you think you’re enjoying this?” and Spongebob replied “When
don’t I enjoy this I LOVE working at the Krusty Krab” “Well you shouldn’t since you
are a pushover here, Bubble Bass said”. Spongebob then notices how the
customers are whispering and talking about how weird he is saying “Man what is
with that guy? How can he lift his own spatula but can’t lift a stick with
marshmallows?”, “I hope he knows he’s only getting minimum wage out of this.”
“(Sigh) it’s hard enough to live next door to him why do I have to stand in front of
him?” (that last one being Squidward). Spongebob then starts to question himself
about being too weak, too positive, and too retiring when it comes to being a fry
cook. During closing time spongebob starts sulking back home until he bumps into
Larry the Lobster doing some late night jogging. “Whoa Spongebob you alright”
Larry then peels Spongebob off his chest as if he was a bandage Spongebob then
asks “Larry how can I be like you?” “You’re always Strong, and Regular, and always
Assertive with the way you do stuff without being questioned” Larry responds “Well
Spongebob I’ll tell you one thing; it’s not about what I do to be like this it’s how I
do it” “You wanna be like me then you gotta be the version you want yourself to
be” Larry then gives Spongebob a little book on How to become a confidence man
in less than 2 days. Spongebob then thanks Larry and gives him a hug only to be
stopped by him saying “Now that’s lesson 1: Don’t be too cheerful” Larry then gets
back to jogging while Spongebob rushes back home to read the book.
French Narrator: Day 1
Spongebob reads Chapter 1 of the book; “Strength” where it says; “You gotta make
yourself bigger and then your Self Esteem shall grow too”. Spongebob decides to
use his exercise equipment only to realize it would take more than 2 days to
become huge, but then he gets a lightbulb in his head when he goes into his closet
and grabs a muscular jello mold of himself and his garden hose. He puts the hose
on the top of his square head and turns on the nozzle. As soon as the hose water
enters him his body starts to stretch out big and strong matching the shape of the
jello mold. As soon as he steps out and looks in the mirror he starts to flex and
shows off a little bit, and while Gary was just about to enter the room he slowly
slithers backwards out of embarrassment.
Now Spongebob reads Chapter 2 of the book; “Attitude” where it says “Make
yourself feel not too happy, not too sad and not too angry, but just right”
Spongebob then asks Mr. Krabs and Sandy to help him practice his proper speech.
Mr. Krabs going first says “Boyo I need to take 99% of your paycheck will that be
alright?” Spongebob replies “Oh certainly Mr. Krabs I just love working here I could
care less about the money” Sandy then honks her horn telling spongebob; “No
spongebob when someone cuts your pay you shouldn’t be happy about it. Now let’s try with sadness” Mr. Krabs says “Closing time Spongebob” Spongebob then cries
as if he was at the Krusty Krab during closing time. Sandy honks her horn again
“Spongebob working at the Krusty Krab may seem fun and all but you can’t be
obsessed about it.” Spongebob then grabs a tissue and pulls himself together.
Trying again Spongebob was able to give off the right feelings at the right level of
emotion. After that Mr. Krabs was wondering if Spongebob meant that he didn’t
care about him taking 99% of his paycheck and tries to take a note to himself only
to be stopped by Sandy who’s pulling up her sleeve and telling him “Don’t even
think about it”.
Spongebob gets to Chapter 3; “Assertiveness” where he gets help from Plankton for
some reason. Plankton believes and tells Spongebob “The key to being assertive is
to trample your enemies head on and show no mercy”. Only to have Spongebob
question; “But what if your enemies are actually friends you don’t know yet”.
Plankton then groans and tells Spongebob “Look; you already have your close
friends so why would you need more friends?” Spongebob then says “You have a
good point there.” Plankton then gives a demonstration with Patrick and Fred as a
part of it. Plankton says “Now look, this guy wants to bully your best friend and
steal both his lunch money and his lunch. What do you do?” Spongebob then walks
towards them with determination in his eyes holding out his burly fist he holds it in
the air and… gives Fred $20. “I hope that this can satisfy your hunger.” Fred then
looks confused and puts the money down on the floor. Plankton; annoyed, tells
Spongebob to grab his shoulder and give him a stern look giving him a warning.
Spongebob then does that and tells Fred “Now Fred, I believe you shouldn’t be
treating my friend Patrick like that he doesn’t appreciate it.” Fred, giving off some
shudders, backs away from them and out onto the street where a bus comes in and
rams him with Fred screaming “MY LEG!”. Plankton slams the door and he is
impressed by what Spongebob had done for himself.
French Narrator: Day 2
Spongebob moves on to the fourth and final chapter of the book; “Show off” “Now
that you’ve mastered the three steps in a new you show the world who you now
are.” Spongebob then feels calmly about finishing the book and decides to go out to
Goo Lagoon to tell Larry and the others. He changes into Blue Speedo which is a
little tight on him, and steps out accidentally cracking the door walls in the process
of shutting the door.
At Goo Lagoon Larry is holding a job fair for a few more life guards while only
finding 3 volunteers he needs 1 more. As Spongebob walks over to him Larry is
both Surprised and Proud after what Spongebob had learned from the book he gave
him. Larry walks up to Spongebob and says “Spongebob I am impressed looks like those lessons really paid off didn’t they?” Spongebob calmly replies with a little
smile on his face “Certainly” Larry then asks Spongebob if he liked to be a volunteer
needed for the last lifeguard position; to which Spongebob agrees saying “as long
as you need help I’m in.” Larry then fills Spongebob in the position and Spongebob
decides to take the next shift as soon as possible, but just then he notices Bubble
Bass stealing a little girl’s ice cream and is about to eat it in front of her.
Spongebob then takes action and stops Bubble Bass just in time before the cone
reaches his tongue. Spongebob gives Bubble Bass a warning: give the girl back her
ice cream or you’re gonna end up as spilled milk. Bubble Bass laughs saying “Show
me...” Spongebob then removes Bubble Bass’ glasses and hits him so hard that he
ends up skipping the beach like a rock on a lake. The little girl’s father then comes
and the little girl tells him “That lifeguard saved my ice cream daddy”! Then the dad
thinks “Wow what a hero!”, the beach goers are thinking “What a man...” and the
others are thinking “Now that’s a guy who’s not to be messed with”. Larry, noticing
all this, is impressed by what Spongebob did and decides to hire him not just as a
lifeguard but also security. Spongebob, feeling proud of himself, decides to make a
schedule for work at the Krusty Krab and now work for Goo Lagoon.
