After the real Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong go missing, Nathan Forester and Brandon Kerr get assigned with the task of rescuing them, to do it they are giving special power-ups that give the abilities of DK and Diddy respectively, in turn turning them into the uncle and nephew duo. The two of them go on a mission to rescue the duo and fight off K.Rool's minions.
