I miss fireflies. Lived in Indiana and didn't really care about them, but then I moved out to California and I started missing them. :c I guess you just don't know what you have until it's gone.

reminds me of my trip to Nashville. First time on a hay ride and the first time seeing fireflies, not to mention a really hot girl was making eyes at me during the ride :) love this piece.

This is cute and wonderful, only thing is, that bunny in the background creates a paradox in contrast to these sexy gynomorphic women, i hope thst universe that handle it.

I miss fireflies - they used to be everywhere in the summer, but I don't think I've seen one in over twenty years. I currently live just one county over from where I grew up, so its not as if I moved to a state that never had them. They are just... gone!

Wow I can't believe it's been 10 years and I still think about this picture a lot. I was looking for something in my favorites folder and found this. It's amazing the impression a single picture can have on you as a young artist. I thought at the time this was the epitome of peaceful, simple, nostalgic innocence, a feeling you can't quite capture but fleeting and one of a kind. The harmony and subtlety of colors, and the balance of detail and delicateness. It was such a masterpiece to me at the time! I keep saying "at the time" as if it's not good now, it is still incredibly good. I actually tried lots of times to capture this feeling, by using cell shades, simplicity, and filters. I drew lots of comfy forest scenes and sleepover scenes too! I just don't know man, I thought you'd like to know the impact one picture you made on a person ahaha oh man when I saw this as a kid I thought it was literally so magical, now as an adult I see the fireflies were literally just round dots on a canvas. I'm NOT putting this down in any way I'm just saying this pic had a huge impact on me and my style ahaha so narcissistic of me to say sorry I'm like soooooo sleepy and nostalgic now, watch this comment become a meme
