A painting of an aquatic dragon I've been working on for the past few days. I wanted to create an atmosphere in which the normally alien world of the water appears more calm, hospitable and familiar than the surface.

I've been doing a lot of smaller work, getting into the habit of painting every day with the intention of working my way up to bigger, more complex pieces. It's hard for me to work on any one image for long periods of time, so let's see how that goes.
