Fifth entry for the Digital vs Analogue challenge! I always liked Birdramon's design, though in the anime is a little bit overlooked, I always liked having this Digimon on my Digimon videogames lineups. Its face is heavily modelled after the shoebill (Balaeniceps rex), a stork-like bird with a very prehistoric look! (please look up images of that bird). The flames are inspired by a lot of Phoenix renditions so you can see they are very prominent on their wings.
