The story behind these pictures is this:
I took some photos of myself making different facial expressions... they were real emotions at the time I made them.. but they weren't overwhelming... They were... brief.
Then, I went into photoshop and altered the pictures so that the emotions in my FACE, would suddenly be the emotions in the ENTIRE PICTURE.
I like the way they're turning out.
But.. they're nothing to worry about me over.

I keep looking at this but forgetting to tell you how awsome I think it is.
It's cool how you adapt the whole photo into this off-kilter split-second world of ...anguish? (i'm guessing that hence the title). It's got this really eerie and slightly mechanical feel to it (at least to me). Very nice.
Have you ever just stared in a mirror looking back at yourself? It's interesting to do when you have nothing better to do, or find yourself just standing in the bathroom. Just staring, looking at your own eyes for a while, making weird faces at yourself. I dunno. I don't know what it does to us psychologically, and I know most people wouldn't admit it if they do do that, but I think it's a sort of personal therapy. I dunno.
