A failed attempt at an icon for myself - I'm officially done with the method of which I'm animating now.. Time to move on to flash! This is so unnecessarily time consuming and uncoordinated!

I'll do better next time T_T I'm going to revisit this theme when I have better capabilities

This has such a peaceful, serene feeling to it. Maybe I'm just a biased fan of starry skies... but gosh, very pretty :3 I love this!

It's absolutely beautifully done, though I can understand why you'd want something speedier. Still, I'd say don't give up on your current animating style, it's very fluid :)

I certainly wouldn't consider this a failed attempt. I personally like this quite a bit. Serenity in the stars above is always evocative to me.

Aside from the ear movement looking a little smudgy, everything else looks really nice. I like the animation on the smile.

But yeah, Flash is easier to animate with.
