Here's a little extra to the comic :) Because Nigel's family has a big role in his prologue story, I thought making a little reference about them will help a lot in work, then I though if I already edited them together I could share them with you :)

If I had to guess, it might end up with their focus latching onto Toby instead and apart from the disappointment and shame Nigel experiences from not being chosen, he then might need to battle the conflicting feeling between being a good sibling and being envious to their attentions suddenly falling upon his younger sibling as the ''spare''. Might make for an interesting sort of dilemma - jealousy but also with the sense that he knows full well that he cannot be the one to speak up given that he has been the focus up until that point.
All that love and attention was a façade, I can see it now. They were terrible people that only thought about themselves, their own pride and what they wanted their son to be. And if he failed them? Well, what a waste of time, trash. Their heads too far up their asses to see what they had there in front of them, or to smell the flowers. And the evidence is right in front of poor Nigel from the start, with how they ignored his little brother
