I like this sketch a bit better than your finished artwork in the same costume. I think it's the action pose.
If I may make a suggestion? Have slits in the backs of the sleeves for the feathers to stick out through. Designed-in, with gold buttons at top and bottom of the slit, and gold braiding along the hem.
