Girl-type Ayn Blackfox, "Vixen Ayn" , wearing white leathers...
I decided to do some funky lighting, otherwise there would be far too much white in the image. Funky lighting practice is good =). I also did the fur a little differently. I hope the fur looks suitably tactile.

Done in inks and acrylic paints on 9"x12" illustration board.

WwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwOW! (O_O)
I want to pull all the strings....
Seriously, this picture is very nice....very, very, VERY nice. The pose, the eyes, the expression, her form....it's all very nice....very, VERY nice. The shadowing, especially the natural shadowing that is going on with her chest and front area is done very well. Love the texture difference between her outfit and her fur, it's all quite tangible and very lovely.
Beautiful, lovely work, Kacey......very, VERY nice.

Very nice, I like your fur texturing a lot
If you don't mind what I hope to be constructive critique, though... I think the only real suggestion I could have on your fur styling for improvement would be where the straps are and the fabric ends - like with a collar on a cat (or doggie sweaters), it'd start out like she's pictured, but if she moves around any you'll end up with some of the fur freeing itself and overlapping the fabric or strap somewhat.
Of course, if this were a fashion shoot, they'd probably have someone on the site waiting to pounce on any stray fur, dutifully tucking it back into place so she always looks just-made-up and perfect. ~.^

Aaah - yes, I see, and agree...
Thats the kind of thing I would normally take into account, too.. I suppose my mind must have been elsewhere. I was actually having a fair amount of difficulty with this piece - it wasn't until near the very end I was starting to feel satisfied with it... Yesterday was one of those days ^.^.
But since she looks like she's at a photo shoot, I think you're right and I can get away with it this time - since its not a candid life moment
