When I was in secondary school, I came across a remarkable arcade beat-em-up named Metamorphic Force, in which you play any one of 4 heroic men that are fighting a long-banished tyrant with magical powers to stop him conquering the World. Assisted by a lovely sorceress, they are able to take on the form of mighty beast men in the heat of battle to terrify and then smash their enemies.
I always thought Metamorphic Force would have a vast following among the furry community, but I've actually seen hardly any art of it, so I thought I would redress that. Here we can see Far Eastern combatant Ban transforming into an immensely powerful bull by touching a magical idol of the sorceress in the midst of a feint. The evil creatures he is fighting are caught completely by surprise by his amazing transformation.
Ban turned out a little too strong a yellow in skin tone than he should be, but I'm very pleased with this first effort. While it is fan art and features plenty of muscle, I've classed it as transformation as that's rarer on FA than either of the other categories of art. There'll be no less than 3 other pictures based on Metamorphic Force coming in my gallery soon, so watch this space!
