He had clawed a tear through the rigid papery cloth. "Just... just get on!" With a snap one of the straps broke and sent the fabric flying away. "Yip! Ah, see, defective one, I'll just... uh.. pull out another and try again."

I wanted something to look back at the last year, where one of the many changes in my life was to become more involved in this community. The timing here wasn't intentional, but I consider myself very fortunate to be "fully vaccinated" as of this week, which was actually not easy to set up back in March. And with any luck I might be branching out into the world a bit more soon.
