Alternate title: "Insanoflex Falls Even Further From Relevancy By Writing Fics Based On Shows Nobody's Ever Heard Of"

So, part of the reason why I haven't been writing as much lately, besides good old-fashioned burnout, is because earlier this year I've actually been working a freelance job, and while I'm not allowed to disclose what I do or what I've worked on, it did indirectly lead to me discovering Bounty Hamster, a short-lived and EXTREMELY underrated cartoon from the early 2000's about a girl named Cassie and a bounty-hunting hamster having misadventures in space while searching for her father. I've really enjoyed it, and was inspired to write something based on it. (Fun fact: This is, as far as I can tell, the first fanfic of the show ever written - or at least, the only one currently on the internet.)

Admittedly I don't think it's my best - it's a lot of buildup for what ended up being a fairly short transformation, but I still think it's funny, and I had fun writing it. I'd also recommend watching the show before reading this, as a few things won't make as much sense if you haven't seen it - in particular, my lampshading of the show's tendency to re-use character designs. Thankfully the whole show is free on YouTube, so there's nothing stopping you. The episodes relevant to this story are "Forget Me Knot" and "Save the Whale" (and optionally "Lost Planet").
