Name: Clint Stephan Hardrock
B.O.S. Codename: Tex Critter
DOB: May 19, 1989
POB: El Paso, Texas
Age: 32
Species: North American Puma
Nationality: American
Height: 5' 10"
Weight : 190 lbs.
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Black
Physical Appearance: Slightly muscular frame, better than average physique
Occupation: Retired Hollywood Stuntfur
Weapons/Items: None
Personal Transport: Hoverbike
Powers: Ability to 'borrow' the attributes of any feral animal he chooses such as 'the eyes of an eagle' for improved eyesight or "the speed of a cheetah" to run extremely fast. His physical form does NOT change, just his abilities. When he borrows these abilities, they are magnified in his body by the power of 10. (10 times stronger when he's "as strong as a gorilla", 10 times improved hearing when he borrows "the ears of a canine", etc)
Fighting Styles: Martial Arts, Military combat style fighting
Strengths: The ability to 'borrow' the attributes from any existing animal species on earth gives Tex a wide array of potential superpowers
Weaknesses: Can only borrow one animal ability at a time, if he tries to borrow from two at the same time, they work at only 5 times the magnification
Bio: Clint was born from a good set of parents, only he was unaware until he was much older that his mother was half Native American. As a child, Clint was fascinated with action movies (Woodchuck Norris was his hero growing up) so he focused on developing his body to mimic the routine Woodchuck used. Young Clint passed on playing in high school sports and instead concentrated on learning martial arts like his famous hero. Upon graduation, Clint enlisted in the Marines, where he served for four years, including a nine month tour in Afghanistan. Upon leaving the military, Clint decided to try his hand at movie/television stunt work. He was very successful for a number of years though in the process, his body did sustain a number of serious injuries. Then the day came that he was hired to be a stuntfur in a movie where his childhood hero Woodchuck Norris was acting. It was there that he discovered that Woodchuck was not the mighty hero that he had viewed on the silver screen. To his surprise, it was stuntfurs who did most of the action scenes Woodchuck supposedly did in his movies.
When Clint threatened to tell the world the truth about Woodchuck Norris, the woodchuck's agent (without Woodchuck's knowledge) arranged for Clint's next stunt to be fatal. Clint was supposed to escape from a burning house through a second story window that would be rigged to open to allow him to roll off the roof and down to a large safety net off camera. When Clint did the stunt flawlessly and rolled off the roof, the safety net that was supposed to cushion his fall wasn't there, causing the puma to be severely injured. At the hospital, his condition was declared critical. After hearing the bad news about their son, Clint's mom burst out of the waiting room crying hysterically. When Clint's dad rushed out to comfort her, two mysterious visitors snuck into Clint's hospital room. One was a very old looking Western deer buck dressed in Native American attire. With him was a younger doe in similar dress. As Clint slowly opened his eyes, he saw that the young doe had placed her hands upon the badly injured puma's chest. Though barely conscious, Clint felt a strong surge of healing power throughout his body. One minute later, all of his pain was gone and every broken bone and damaged organ in his body was completely restored. As Clint sat up in his bed, the elderly buck explained that he was known as Cornstalk, mystic seer of his tribe and that through his mother, he was a member of his tribe as well. Cornstalk told Clint of a vision he had about his future and how he was destined to take a vision quest on their reservation. At first, Clint was unsure about the entire experience until the younger doe, Meya Fae Cornstalk, the elderly buck's granddaughter, explained that how she had recently been to a vision quest herself and that was where she received her amazing powers to heal Clint's body instantly. Hearing his convinced Clint that he must have a vision quest of his own.
After leaving the hospital, Clint returned to the reservation and was led by Meya to the entrance of a cave. After the elderly buck spoke some words and gave his blessing, Clint entered into the cave. His vision quest had began as Clint stood in the center of the cave while the forms of hundreds of feral animals approached him from all sides. Instead of being frightened, Clint closed his eyes and focused his thoughts. It was then that he felt surges of energy throughout his body as each of the spirit animals entered into his frame. The booming words that sounded like thunder explained to Clint that he was to become a mighty warrior in the cause of justice aided by the abilities of the feral spirit animals his body had just absorbed. Then he saw a vision of the Bureau Headquarters in Houston and told that he was to take Meya with him and join them. After his vision quest had ended, the elderly buck nodded as he told Meya to go with Clint to the place where the vision directed him. Both he and Meya registered and joined the Bureau of Superheroes. Clint's unique superpower set and intelligence allowed him to advance quickly to the role of Director of the BOS Houston District with Meya becoming the District's Chief Medical Officer.
Personality: Clint Hardrock is easy going, but always stands firm on his principals and for the BOS agents under his command.
