A surprise gift for Liz that I made back in February! Being so preoccupied with our book work, it’d been forever since I made something just for fun, and just for Liz, so this was long overdue. Plus, it was created in the midst of my horrible, tedious Volume 1 & 2 page corrections, and I desperately needed something spontaneous and fresh in that winter to keep from re-enacting ’The Shining’. So, voila! Us. With our trailing cold blooded companion. A theme comes to mind revisiting this image, and one that holds true for me… Navigating through life, it’s not the size of your boat, it’s how much fun you’re having in it.
