These were quite popular in the States. The people that owned them were very enthusiastic about the cars. Have not seen one for years.
It is still a handsome design. =^.^=

I´m suprised that Opels were sold in the US at all. They were basically the german/european brand of GM, before PSA bought it a few years ago.

I believe they were sold in GM dealerships as an alternative small car. Seems like I even saw some Opel trucks in the early 70's.

Yeah, Opel Blitz trucks were build untill the mid-1970s.
