I never had issues with them, the box design is awesome with those subs, I only have to turn my sub amp quarter of the way up from what I had to when I had the drivers in cube boxes, I did blow one of them, thats why theres two different dust caps happening.. but that was a stupid drunken me that made that happen lol
I've read up on polarity on subs, and it basically just creates a round positive polarity arund the subs, but those bass reflex scoops caught my eye, I wish to sit in front of your speakers and FEEL the awesome. I love a great pair of subs that send chill down your spine at every hit of the kick drum.
From the looks of even that section of your setup, it looks like it delivers really well. What all do you run through your different speakers? Music? Movies? (mmm MOVIES) Watch transformers now, that bass killlls.
And about your dust caps, it just looked like a hitch in the photography, so I didn't note it as odd. but that is a funny story. *holds your drunk self back from the amplifiers*

Right now there is a tv where my ass is in the picture lol, pretty fun for tv and movies, I use that system for rock concerts (i mic all the players and drums) and larger events & stuff that needs allot of bass
I have a new yamaha system with a powered mixer and 2 15 inch speakers and active sub but its just not the same awesomeness of the 1980s gear that has all the real power. Im actually under powering these speakers with the amps i use, the subs get 400 watts each and the main towers get 600 so 2000 watts and thease speakers dont even break a sweat, i often find myself having to have the amps only half way to get the place going... in my house there set to levels 1/10 and the mixer is turned down quite allot or my kitchen table on the above floor moves across the room lmfao

The Older Gear Does Have A Certain Feel that you just can't get with the newer stuff.
I underpower my Pair of Yamaha Club lV Speakers, but cn still get 102-106dB without the amp clipping.
Peak 2500W
RMS 1000W
What i send -- 400W
But, I have it equalized to near perfect audio reproduction, because they are nowhere near their sweet spot, I have to equalize them.
I don't have the money to buy decent 2000W Stereo amp right Now, so, I settle with my 400W powered mixer.

Found that last year, but I forgot what it was called. I dare not speak of it to my fellow sound engineer, Mr. Joe - The wizard of wires, He'll say blasphemy. He doesn't believe that you can hear much at all below 80 Hz, when I know I can well hear down to 6 Hz in a quiet room, with earbuds.
