So, I finally came up with a decent design for the kobrododon. These are the guys who run the kobrodian empire, which stretches from their home moon, Ginra, to the southern oceans of ELM. Kobrododon are an aquatic species, but they have 1000 gallon sacs in their sides (one on each side) that can supply them with enough oxygen-filled water to last for 2-3 days on land, where most of their societies operations take place.
Kobrododon society is a funny thing. Most of the time, it's pack based, like wolves. But they build cities, both under water, and on land. It may be speculated that only one, huge pack inhabits these cities, but that's not quite how it works. Kobrododon packs don't usually take land, and when they do they aren't very territorial over land, and most of the time they only take small plots. They openly share space with other packs. Cities are made up of land plots all bunched together and developed. I think I explained this badly, but wtvr.
The tentacles are used for catching fish, and stuff. Kobrododon being aquatic, they like to spend time underwater. They don't swim, however, but walk on the floor. That little section at the end of their beak, the tiny part with the point, is translucent, and is venomous. the dots on the stripe coming back from their eyes are bioluminescent, as are the tips of the tentacles.
