no really. I don't like american cars, I never have. I prefer the european model. Kia is some of the best you can get for the price. And its what I went with. Its not like I make 50K a year. I gotta get what I can afford 8P

Kia really fixed their act in the early 2000's when they realized their cars were crap. Now Kia's are actually good buys. But I definitely did my shopping around before I made my decision.

I've never been worried about raw horsepower. I am not a racer nor do I intend to race anyone. I just want a nice quiet car to get me around town. I take my pleasure in being the best damned resto shaman in world of warcraft you'll find 8P. hehe

And just because I feel like posting an update. Its been 5 years since I last spoke with you in this comment thread and I still have had 0 issues with my Kia. I've even driven her across the country now and live in the northwest.

Looks like a good car, such sedans are quite common in europe. Never really liked small cars, but this is really medium for europeans standards and well suited for european roads it looks.

KIA is a good brand indeed, though with bad history.

Does this one save you some gas and maintance costs?

Compared to the cars I've owned in the past yes. But then I've always owned cheap ass used cars. This is my first new car, and I haven't had to put any serious maintenance into it beyond regular checkups and oil changes. Though I do need to replace my tires sometime soon.

As for gas mileage: I can drive to Houston and back on one tank (12 gallon tank and its a 4 hour drive one way to Houston at roughly 70 MPH).
