Once again, I have fallen behind on drawing one of my favorite OCs. I gave Reyes a very tiny redesign, honestly nothing noticeable. For some context here, when he wasn’t being pampered for having golden wings, he acted as a Angel of Death, but not to those who were dying. He acted towards those with immense, uncontrollable greed. After an incident that involved some thugs attempting to cut off his wings to sell, he had quickly taken to taking care of those that put their money and wealth before anyone else and would sooner kill others than to part with what could be given to those in need. It reminded him too much of his own kind. Every time he hit up a city that had taken it’s greed to the extreme and even dangerous, the city would take on the appearance of gold. Sometimes he would even leave behind “statues.” As of the present, he no longer takes on this task. At least not alone.

That's exactly what he did. Loved your riches more than the people around you? You get turned into the very thing that you obsessed over. The whole "trying to cut off his wings to put on the black market" thing set him off the most. Though this task is the reason his halo is partially black. Angels aren't supposed to harm mortals, but because Reyes is seen as royalty in his home, he didn't face any form of bullying or punishment because of it. It was more of a slap on the wrist.
Stinky: Hehehe! XD Wow. The parallels. XD
Rich person irl: *Gets treated like royalty. Commits crime. Gets slap on the wrist*
Stella: Golden boy: *Is treated like royalty. Commits crime. Gets slap on the wrist*
Heh. XD At least he's doing the right thing. XD Punishing those who deserve it, but aren't getting it. The fine details matter.

As much as he actually was relieved that was all he got, he doesn't like how his own kind are or how sheltered he grew up. He wanted to be treated normally, but was always treated like he was better than any other angel just for his appearance, which he thought was stupid. His "Angel of Death" stage was sort of rebellion to see what would happen if he did something considered wrong or a crime for angels.
