for nearly 2 years i've been on this Pokemon Sword Journey and man have i been busy so i decided to make this now since soon we'll be going back to Sinnoh so consider this my final Sword update [at least until either more things for Sword drop or something else happens in the game that we don't know about] here we go
Sword Team:
this is the team i went with for the game some Pokemon were harder to find than others but i was able to go through it with a good mindset along with a small bit of help so here we go

when Pokemon Sword and Shield were first announced i had a difficult time trying to decide what starter i should go with i was deciding between Scorbunny or Sobble Grookey didn't interest me that much and i was certain Scorbunny was going to be another Fire/Fighting Starter so i decided to go with Sobble and after a couple resets i got a female and named her Shampoo after my favorite blue haired girl from Ranma 1/2 and she's been a great member i was able to get her to Gigantamax and she's really epic good job

Story: Yamper was a cute thing when i saw it i decided to go forth and use that as my electric type since i didn't want to use a Pikachu clone so i was able to catch this and boy did it pay off! it's strong, epic and awesome! i joked that Rover Spark is a loose name take of Rover Dangerfield but it was mostly original since i didn't want to name it something common like Sparky or just plain Rover so i combined them, took out the Y and Rover Spark was born i love it so much :D

the very little info we got on the games over the months was wearing thin on me yeah we got some good info but there really wasn't much and some of it like no national dex pissed off a lot of people in my plans i had 5 team members planned out and i had no fire type and i wasn't sure if there was going to be one announced so i decided to say fuck it an use Rolycoly as my last Pokemon and hope it evolves into a fire type and sure enough... it did and it looks pretty cool it's epic in battle and i love it's Gigantamax form even though i caught it as a normal Rolycoly and didn't give it the G-Max icon until Isle of Armor i still think this is a great addition i also named him Duncan after my favorite Narrow Gauge engine on Thomas the Tank Engine and it's still an epic pick

ever since Gen 7 i wanted to use a Tsareena but never got a good chance to get one so when i noticed some Steenees in the trailers i knew this would be my chance however... there was a problem wild Bounsweet can only be found at certain locations in the Wild Area but only if the weather conditions are clear and the weather conditions that particular day in the Rolling Fields are snow i tried my best but i couldn't find a Bounsweet so i decided to go on Serebii's Discord server and ask for a Bounsweet egg someone answered and i gave them any Pokemon and finally got my Bounsweet that i named after one of my favorite Dr. Crafty girls Crystelle and she's been good to me the entire journey and i love her for that :D too bad it can't learn Psychic moves but hey High Jump Kick is better than any old Psychic move any day

the instant Galar Forms were introduced along with new evolutions to some of the Galar forms i knew i wanted one either a Fire Type version of one Pokemon or at least one i wanted to get and while no Galarian fire types were made not counting Zen Mode Darmanitan i went with one that genuinely came as a surprise a Galarian Farfetch'd with a new epic evolution! and this thing is as strong and as powerful as advertised and i love it to death!
Isle of Armor Team:
this was a first since the games were going to be having DLC i decided to go onward with a second team as well as a third team for the later coming Crown Tundra and this team was pretty cool to make i can tell you that

the story of Meltan and Melmetal during the end of Gen 7 and the beginning of Gen 8 was amazing so i wanted this thing the problem was... i didn't have Pokemon GO during this time my phone was dead since 2017 and i didn't have access to one until last month so i was shit out of luck for a Meltan or Melmetal so i decided to ask my friend Paxton to send me a spare Melmetal through Pokemon Let's Go and i can send it to Pokemon Sword through Pokemon Home and i love it only problem i can't give it the Max Soup and there's currently no second way to give it the Gigantamax form hopefully there will be but we'll have to see but for now it's just stuck as a normal Melmetal but it's still cool

seeing the Hoenn Starters in this DLC was a surprise so in the Max Raids i went and found a Blaziken, caught it in a Fast Ball and bred a Torchic with the ability Speed Boost and i love how this looks this was a lot of work to get and it was totally worth it and named him after the famous Sylvester Stallone character Rambo very fitting :D
and that's all for the game a lot of work done and a lot of good team members caught but i'm happy with what i have

the last type i needed was a Flying type so i went ahead and got a Bagon in a Heavy Ball in my 3DS, sent it over to Sword and did a quick breed and got this beauty i named him after my favorite Shining Time Station character and he looks amazing i love how epic Salamence looks it's one of my favorite Gen 3 Pokemon even though you don't have access to it until after all 8 badges are collected in the original games oh well

Story:
seeing the Hoenn Starters in this DLC was a surprise so in the Max Raids i went and found a Blaziken, caught it in a Fast Ball and bred a Torchic with the ability Speed Boost and i love how this looks this was a lot of work to get and it was totally worth it and named him after the famous Sylvester Stallone character Rambo very fitting :D
and that's all for the game a lot of work done and a lot of good team members caught but i'm happy with what i have
