No, banda, Janja no está acorralando a Jasiri :v son solo los segundos antes de que se enteren de la existencia del otro

Esta ilustración corresponde al siguiente fragmento de mi fic, I'll be Good, en el Capítulo 8: Otra cara con manchas:


"Janja llegó hasta uno de los pequeños claros que ya conocía, esos donde se unían más de dos caminos. Escuchó un ruido detrás de él, pero al girar la cabeza no vio nada. Frunció las cejas y avanzó un par de pasos más con cautela.
La chica saltó sobre la saliente más cercana, y al aterrizar, un par de guijarros resbalaron por el costado. Se ocultó detrás de una columna de piedra antes de que llegaran a la tierra y alertaran al intruso.

Él escuchó otro ruido, ahora cerca del muro izquierdo, y vio el par de guijarros que lo habían producido rodar algunos metros en la tierra. Eso ya era demasiado. Aguzó la mirada, pero el sol había caído rápido y las sombras eran lo suficientemente intensas para ocultar a alguien. Sintió un escalofrío al sentirse acorralado. Pero no iba a dejar que el miedo le ganara, y decidió a deshacerse del quien quiera que lo estaba siguiendo, convirtió su miedo en ira.

— ¿Quién está ahí? — preguntó con un ladrido. — Puedo escucharte, más vale que salgas.

Jasiri pego la espalda a la columna lo mejor que pudo. Asomó la nariz ligeramente para verlo de nuevo. Ahora podía verle el rostro. Era un macho, y aunque se veía mayor que ella, era algo delgado para la edad que debía tener. Eso le dio confianza: un chico solitario y débil no debería ser problema para ella. Quizá por fin podría demostrarle a su clan, y a Fuvu, que era lo suficientemente mayor para cuidarse sola.

Cubriéndose con las sombras que proyectaban las rocas, la hiena bajó de un salto y se ocultó tras una segunda columna. Ahora que estaba a nivel del desconocido debía ser cautelosa.

— No quiero problemas, pero pelearé contigo si no me dejas otra opción — amenazó.

Janja movió las orejas en su dirección antes de buscarla con la mirada. Vio movimiento entre las sombras de la columna más cercana a él. Se agazapó para lucir más agresivo de lo que en realidad se sentía. Contrajo las piernas, preparándose para atacar a lo que fuese que estuviera del otro lado."


Se supone que en esta escena Janja y Jasiri son más jóvenes de lo que se ve en TLG, pero realmente no estoy segura de cómo hacerlos lucir más como cachorros :( Una disculpa por los cortes mal hechos de las piedras. Prometo que la próxima vez ya me van a salir bien...

No guys, Janja is not cornering Jasiri xD it's only the seconds before they find out about each other's existence

This illustration corresponds to the following fragment of my fic, I'll be Good, in Chapter 8: Another spotted face:


"Janja came to one of the small clearings that he already knew, those where more than two paths met. He heard a noise behind him, but when he turned his head he saw nothing. He frowned and cautiously took a couple more steps forward.

Jasiri jumped over the nearest ledge, and upon landing, a couple of pebbles slid down her side. She hid behind a stone column before they reached the ground and alerted the intruder.

He heard another noise, now near the left wall, and saw the pair of pebbles that had produced the noise roll a few feet into the ground. That was too obvious. He narrowed his gaze, but the sun had fallen fast and the shadows were intense enough to hide someone. He felt a chill at being cornered. But he wasn't going to let fear get the better of him, and he decided to get rid of whoever was following him. He turned his fear into anger.

"Who's there?" he asked with a bark. "I can hear you, you better come out."

Jasiri pressed her back to the column as best she could. She poked her nose out slightly to see him again. She could see his face now. He was a male hyena, and although he looked older than her, he was somewhat thin for his age. That gave her confidence: a lonely and weak boy should not be a problem for her. Maybe she could finally prove to her clan, and to Fuvu, that she was old enough to take care of herself alone.

Covering herself in the shadows cast by the rocks, the gilr jumped down and hid behind a second column. Now that she was at the level of the rogue she had to be cautious.

"I don't want problems, but I will fight with you if you do not leave me another option," she threatened.

Janja flicked his ears in her direction before looking up at her. He saw movement in the shadows of the column closest to him. Janja crouched down to look more aggressive than he actually felt. He contracted her legs, preparing to attack whatever was on the other side."


Janja and Jasiri are supposed to be younger than they are in TLG in this scene, but I'm really not sure how to make them look more like cubs :( An apology for the poorly edges of the stones. I promise that next time I will finally draw them well...
