This took way longer than it should have @_@ but it was a good way to get used to using a tablet that doesn't have a touch screen. I haven't programmed any of the shortcut keys yet, and I had issues with Krita working, so this is on Autodesk Sketchbook. I want to use a different brush for lineart in the future, but I enjoy the watercolor brush! Let me know what you all think!
My workflow will be much slower than usual since I am practicing and learning to draw in a totally different way, but hopefully soon I can do some super cool effects and make my art more interesting! :)
For my first piece on the tablet, it isn't so bad. I like how it still pretty much looks like my traditional work :)
(idk what the floating spirit flames are for, they just match Cricket's eyes)

oh gosh yeah Krita is a lot to figure out! It's also notorious for being a bit of a tricky software that can be very finicky. If you're struggling with it a lot I'd definitely recommend checking out FireAlpaca as I found it worked a lot nicer than Krita for me personally. Also if you've got money to spare ClipStudioPaint is just amazing, it's what I currently use and gosh it's gotta be the best art program I've used so far no doubt!
AAA HI SORRY I DIDNT SEE THIS
I create a layer under lineart to color so it doesn't ruin the lines! <3 for ibispaint you go to the blue layer at the top and then click the paintbucket tool. Select on that blue layer what you want to only color on. (I actually select the background and thenclick on the side bar the two boxes of black and white!) This button switches what is selected. This makes it 100% easier. Then once you have what you wnat selected, go back to the coloring layer and enjoy!
