Meet my new old truck, a 1958 Ford F100. It's twice my age. 100% original EVERYTHING: motor (straight 6), tranny (automatic), brakes, glass, wiring et al. I put the brake to the floor and blew out the (rusted) master line within 30 minutes of buying it and had to spend 2 hours in the Kragen parking lot fixing it with my friend Reece and borrowed tools. We didn't have appropriate wrenches and had to bend the line into shape by inserting it into various holes in the body. Kinky!
Also, the roof almost blew off on the drive home and had to be duct taped down... yeah there's some rust, but nothing a little elbow grease and a couple trips to the swap meet can't take care of. This picture (nor the next) truly does it justice, they're just taken from the craigslist posting that led to its purchase. Proper ones to follow, as well as many documenting its (most likely slow) restoration.
