Eva, while she can see the fun, is not going to pose for Pete. Very short story snippet below the line.

But let us turn our attention back to my drawing, and especially to her tail! I’m really satisfied with that experiment!

Done July 2010. Pencil sketch, inked and colored in photoshop. Was originally supposed to be a quickie-in-between, but the only real quick thing about it in the end was the camera and the background. Coloring and shading consists of 4 layers for the tail: flat color, fine grained fur (like on the rest of her body), the fur bundles (she only has those on her tail) and regular shading. :)

I ain’t no FireFox

Fun day at the beach with Eva, the red vixen. Just swimming, relaxing, and looking for seals maybe. And Pete found a very big beach ball that looked like a globe, and he got an idea.

He tossed it to Eva. She caught it lightly, and not noticing his grin, and assuming he just wanted to play toss-over, she immediately tossed it back to Pete. But Pete was already fumbling in his bag. He was looking for his camera and he wasn’t quite ready when the ball hit him, and almost knocked the camera out of his hand. “Whoa!”

“Where did you get this ball?” Eva asked

“Borrowed it from that family over there.” Pete answered, while he rolled the ball back to Eva.

Now Eva noticed his slightly too wide smile, and the camera.

“Eeh, What’s with the cam?”

“Well...” Pete began with a toothy grin, “You know the firefox logo, right?”

“What?” said Eva, while she couldn’t suppress a giggle, “Oh no! I like FireFox, I use it a lot. I even think their logo is pretty. But this is just a little too demeaning.”
