Like I said, I just carried it over till the new ones come in. And yeah, I looked at a few 260's an 5770's.
Once the new cards are in, the 9500 goes back into the old Pentium 4 machine and it goes to dad for him to use. It'll be much better for him to use that than that old PGA478 Pentium 4 1.0 GHz. The one he's getting has the LGA775 version of the 3.0 GHz P4, so he can upgrade to Core 2 architecture later one if he wants.
