I intended for this to be a quick color study, but then I realized that I know jack squat abut early morning/late evening color schemes and it took a few hours. Good thing, too; I need to learn how to paint environments.

MEDIA: Corel Painter 10 (mostly cover pencil and chunky oil pastel), textures from cgtextures.com

Woo, that slew of compliments mean so much coming from you. Thank you! Nidorino was probably THE first Pokemon I ever saw; I was in a still-life class when I was eight or nine and one of the kids gave me a gameboy. "Train my Pokemon." they said. "Eh?" I said. "Walk around and press A when something happens." Thus, an obsession was born.
